I looked up online and tell her the houses that I am interested.
I want her to give me rebate and she said no. by the way, she is American.
We signed exclusive contract to Feb. 14th. Does this mean that any houses
that we signed contract before Feb.14th she will get the commission no
matter if she showed us the house or not?

发帖数: 1473 | 2 I think you can find some one else now but don't sign anything with that new agent, then formally dump the old one on Feb 15. Don't forget to have the old agent signed on the "dump" form with the date of Feb 15, 2010. | o****d

I also think realtors made way too much.
I only looked 5 houses, and my realtor got 5000. He didn't tell any valuable
suggestions. I was in a hurry to buy because I was expecting a baby. But
for you, take your time. No hurry.

发帖数: 152 | 4 I found my agent in open house. This is the only one she showed us. Later I bought this house. She is the dual agent, she earned 30000 from this deal. 0 rebate to us. This money comes so easy.

发帖数: 191 | 5 I think the realtor makes reasonable money, they deserve what they get. My
realtor didn't show us much either and got good commission. For a realtor,
you can't just look at how much you paid her/him, as they could have shown
tons of places to people who don't end up buying/selling,not to mention the
research, discussion they do besides showing. My realtor works day and night
, she's on call anytime. For that kind of life style, she deserves to make
good money. |
