Now my deal is 15 year fixed 4.00% home purchase $3200 closing fee. We will
sign contract with broker next week because our closing date is 08/25. more

Because my closing date is 08/25, can I lock it for 45 days next week? It is
more than 50 days from next wednesday to 08/25?
Difference between 45 das and 60 days?

发帖数: 9308 | 4 your lock period has to cover the escrow close date, so you can't lock for
45 days in your case and you have to lock for 60 days if you choose to lock
next week.
Here's the gamble part, if you think the rate will go up next week, then
lock it; if you think the rate will keep dropping, then wait until 30 days
prior to close date.
