标 题: 借人气问一下backup offer

有个dream house，一切都好就是离上班的地方很远。本来都放弃了，结果上周发现有
上班的shuttle可以坐，刚高兴没两分钟就发现那个dream house已经有offer了。不过
redfin status写的是：Contingent(show): This listing has an accepted offer
with contingencies for financing or inspections, but the sellers are still
allowing the house to be toured in case the current offer falls through.
This means the sellers would accept backup offers in case the current buyers
back out of the deal. 而且上个周末在这样的状态下，那个房子还有一个open
house。
我们咨询了自己的agent，她回答说是seller对现在的offer没有信心，想用backup
offer来push current buyer not to walk away。所以我们如果写backup offer实际上
帮别人准备嫁衣，建议我们等这个房子回到market上再说。
但是我担心会不会seller等不到backup offer就很不情愿的从了现在的buyer - 如果
seller本来有机会break up from the current contract? 另外，我们的agent现在正
在努力劝我们给另外一个房子出offer，所以我觉得她对这个backup offer的房子完全
没有兴趣。 |

在的Offer多，我想这个房子你就能拿下。

发帖数: 465 | 3 可是加州不是都保护buyer吗？seller接受了offer之后，只有buyer主动提出翻悔（或
者借不到钱）才能终止合同吧？

.g., inspection contingency. But if seller refuse to fix anything, buyer may
back out, then from that sense sell has some leverage too.

Offer，如果接受了Offer，一般会写成Pending。
