It took me an hour just to dismantle the old faucet. My kitchen sink has
garbage disposal and numerous water pipes which makes it almost impossible
to
use a regular wrench, not enough space to use a basin wrench.
The old Moven faucet is install in away that you can only remove the nut
from
below the sink using a customized socket tool from Moven.
Unfortunately, the stupid socket tool for my new Moven sink does not fit the
old nut. I have to go to Homedepot twice to find an expensive long socket
wrench
set to the get job done.
Even with the right tool, taking off the rusted nut took me half an hour. My
wife has to hold the faucet still while I twist the wrench below the sink.
The space is really really small. I am a big guy and it is very very
uncomfortable.

发帖数: 9932 | 9 I called Moen about my old leaking faucet and they honored their life time
warranty but still changed me 55 dollars for the new faucet. It is not a
stainless steel one.

Grohe makes good faucets. German made, last a life time.
Plumber would charge about $150 for the job. I had mine done a few months
back.. |
