议的修理。大家 看看这种情况严重不严重。大概要多少钱，修完后会不会有后遗症。

There was noticeable sloping in the floor in the kitchen and the hallway.
The sloping of the floor was caused by sagging of the fil'St floor trusses,
the header at the opening for the basement stairs, and the double trusses
that support the header. The sagging of the floor framulg has been ongoing
since the house was built and will increase in the future probably at the
same rate. This type of floor truss often has sagging/deflection problems.
Sometimes the pressed-in metal plates come loose causing a loss of sh'
uctural integrity. The majority of the trusses and metal plates were not
visible.
The recommcndcd repair to minimize the future increase in the sagging of the
framing and the sloping floor is as follows:
I. Inspect trusses for loose metal plates. Contact engineer if any damage is
found .
2. Construct a 2x4 stud wall next to the basement stairs. Construct the wall
with double top plate, double stud under each truss, and a single pressure
treated bottom plate. The wall can be built on the existi,pg concrete floor.
3, Sister the (Tusses below' the wall between the kitchen and the hallway
using full length 1-3/4xI4 LVLs. The LVLs over the basement powder room may
terminate above the wall between the powder room and'the rest of the
basement. |
