CONDO一堆的规矩,升值空间还不大。关于CONDO的P&C有很多讨论。

my personal opinion, if u can not afford sfh, buying a condo is still better
than renting an appartment in a long term. Besides, it is tax deductable.
You can not deduct a penny tax if you rent one bedroom appartment. Just my

Just friendly reminder that if your condo community has > 50% for rental or
15% delinquency rate, not every lender will approve your loan.
Every refinance, in most cases, will occur HOA document fee (in most cases
covered by your mortgage broker).

. Then you are stuck with your neighbors, it's like living in an apt except
you signed yourself to a multi-year lease unless you want to take a big
haircut and get out early
I live in a condo now, thank god I rent, it's a nice neighborhood, but the
owners are still down some 150k from 3 years ago, and they pay $300 a month
or so in HOA fees, it'll be a long time before they go cash positive

repair an apt with a leak, painting, adding new furniture to the lobby, all
that stuff, guess who pays for it even if the balcony/leak/furniture isn't
for your apt? yah you do

SFH and you can also use community pool, tennis court, gym by paying the HOA
...so it's not that bad for that HOA fee charged each month.
