Most Effective Way to Defeat California SCA 5 in the Assembly

California Senate Constitutional Amendment 5, a racist proposal that
blatantly contradicts the United States Constitution, will bring racial
discrimination back to college admissions in California.
The California State Senate surreptitiously smuggled the bill through,
hoping the general public will not notice the racist scheme.
We will stop it in the Assembly!
The bill will require two-thirds of the membership of the Assembly to pass.
The passage of the state constitutional amendment will require 54 votes in
the Assembly. The Democratic Party occupies 55 out of 80 seats. If the
Republican Party members vote against the amendment, we will still need at
least 2 members of the Democratic Party to abstain or vote no. Our best bet
is the Asian American members in the Assembly, and the most effect way is
to contact them directly.
