affiliation, clinic affiliation,都在独立处理病人,但是却没有Board Certified
(因为其他有执照的医生都写明了Board-Certified的专业).这是什么原因呢?照理说
没有执照的话应该不能单独看病啊。不知道这一部分医生的处理病人的水平怎样,有经

that state. Some physicians also take exams in a particular specialty to get
"board-certificated". Although no guarantee a "board-certificated" doctor
is more knowledgeable than other doctors in that field, it's an important
credential measure. As long as a physician has a medical license he or she
can see patients in that state. If not sure, choosing a "board-certificated"
doctor in that specialty is a safer bet. |

是取得licence,还需要进一步考board-certificated的专业?是不是所谓的
fellowship?但是我看list上面写的board-certificated的专业就是Medicine,OB-GYN
之类的大专业,并没有细化到具体科别的各个亚专业。这是怎么回事呢?谢谢! |

check each state's requirement for medical license:

In many states a board-certificate is not required for the license. People can get a license after a residency (some states only require one year of residency training). If they decide to do a subspecialty they may apply for a fellowship.
