发帖数: 427 | 1 Before 1999, her name was "Shanghai Medical University".
During my years in Fudan, her name was "Fudan Medical College" at first, and
then "Shanghai Medical College of Fudan University". And I believe when I
graduated, names printed on my diploma and transcript are or could be
translated as "Shanghai Medical College of Fudan University"...
Now, from ECFMG, her name becomes "MEDICAL CENTER OF FUDAN UNIVERSITY ".....
....I love my school, but I really don't like this stupid name. Does "

There are so many stories about the evolution of the name of our medical
school...anyway, don't worry too much, they are receiving several letters
from ECFMG every day!!! Actually I was surprised to know that they are so in
touch with ECFMG :)

into the school name. Now, "Shanghai" has been taken out again!
ORZ....

发帖数: 577 | 5 校名每次更改，不光是认证麻烦。学校牌子这个无形资产改一次名就贬一次值，多改几
次人家就要怀疑学校是不是正规了。
你们应该组织全体校友，包括已经退休的，跟学校情愿，把名字固定下来。拿美国的
Case Western Reserve University的医学院作例子。人家几年前把医学院名字里的
Western Reserve去掉了，后来在历届校友强烈反对下又改回来了

发帖数: 427 | 6 有道理~ 这样改来改去，自己学生都confuse了，自己学校名字叫什么都不知道说哪个
好。。。我填报名表的时候，就在想，校名那栏是填成绩单上那个呢？还是填ECFMG上
列的那个呢？？？
这个校名，上医和复旦吵了10年，换了那么多个，还不停歇。。这也罢了，可这
medical center怎么读怎么不像个医学院，读上去就很蠢的样子。。ORZ。。
