虽然有同期申请的朋友们的奔走相告和互通有无，但是如果能有一个和有经验的申请者
一起讨论的平台，面对面的听取过来人的一些见解，相信会减少一些低级错误，从而增
加成功的几率。为此，ACAP SRF(student, resident, fellow) committee特意组织了
一次全天集中讨论，同一目的两个主题: 介绍住院医申请/面试中常见的问题(Coaching
)；对以往有过申请失败经历的CMG们的问题进行个体化讨论(Clinic)，希望能够有所帮
助。
·时间：7月31日 9:30AM-4:30PM
·地点：Auditorium at Lutheran Medical Center, Brooklyn, New York 11220
·辅导人员: ACAP President-Dr. Eng具有多年的招募住院医的经验。此外至少有两名
PGY2，两名PGY3。估计到时会有更多现任住院医/Fellow参加。

发帖数: 438 | 14 谢谢你的问题. 计划大概是这样的，一开始会有一个讲座，应该是10-11AM。介绍申请
的程序，package准备/面试要点。常见的技术性错误等等，然后提问和分组讨论。我觉
得讨论很重要，有些问题我们也想不到，有些答案虽然是过来人也不见得就最好。大家
讨论后集思广益，可能都会有意想不到的收获。Dr. Eng下午3点出完门诊会来再给个讲
座，从attending的角度来谈对candidate的expectation.
目前有20多个人报名了，大家看看有什么更好的建议，可以提出来，我们加进去。看电话号码外州ID好像比较多，不禁有些紧张，可不要辜负了大家大老远跑过来:)

礼堂里不准吃饭，所以到时候大家可以轮流去CAFE吃饭。另外，咱们大家保持礼堂清洁
，以后有活动再借也容易些。 |

参与讨论的人员现在确定下来的有两名PGY-II，三名PGY-III， 两位Attending, 包括
ACAP主席 Dr. Eng。 Dr. Eng 已经发出邮件召集更多的Attending参加。
我们也可以利用一点时间搞一个简短的mock interview, 现场演示，让大家对于IV过程
有个更切身实际的感受。 |

wants to be exposed. I don't have a decent camcorder with me, the simplest
way might be posting the ppt.

changed their rules, now only fotos are allowed to be attached.
This month I am in the unit on call on alternating day, basically 6am-8pm
non-stopping. With my grand round and personal statement to be prepared,
really no time to write big things here.
I will try to post it on ACAP website. |

started at 10:30AM, ended at~2PM, with a lunch in between. A lot of
questions were discussed in details. Dr. Eng came over at ~3:30pm, Dr. Zheng
joined later, they covered more about interviewing process. The get-
together ended at ~5:30pm.
I personally think it was very interactive and enjoyable, although we hope
we could have covered more topics.

看到很多兄弟姐妹从外州甚至加拿大赶过来，我们几个都诚惶诚恐的。希望对大家有所
帮助。
现在ACAP可以帮助我们解决场地问题，可以组织更多类似活动。只是组织者都是全职住
院医，本来schedule就紧，coordination还是挺花时间的，多亏老撂这回在elective才
有时间组织，也累得不轻。
考虑着以后请一些时间充裕的兄弟姐妹帮忙，能多组织几次。
