现在给了，又开始纠结了。
还有十几个面试，这家是第一个面试的，别的都没有来得及去。
想了想这个医院，
除了小，没有fellowship，别的还过得去。
但是心里不甘心的啊，
别的面试还有几个大学医院的，
是不是应该放弃这些面试？
现在CMG的行情到底怎么样？
害怕放过这个机会，最后什么都没有。

。要是手里就5个面试，那谁给offer就去哪里:)

我基本上不会去Path的IV了，IM的都排不开。我可以取消面试的，但是怎么才能推荐你
，我真的不知道。

不轻诺，言出必践。
offer好坏，没拿到手里的就不是你的。
怎么做人，是一辈子的事情。
如果我是你，我后头有十来个面试，我也不会让朋友难做。

Otherwise you'd better take it. It is harder and harder to get matched.
looking for a fellowship is much easier than match into the residency
program.

neighborhood, it is a better idea to accept it. University based programs
usually do not offer H1 visa. Go to Frieda or ask around for the working
hours. If it is over 65 hours for all three years, do not pick it even if
they offer . I do not think that you could learn a lot in heavy workload.
Then go to scutwork.com. See the comments by other residents. The support
from attendings, a nice PD and camaraderie are what I am looking for. Above
all, check if you like the specialty. Residency training is very intense.
Without dedication and strong connection with what you are doing, you will
find your life very miserable. In brief, specialty> H1 visa>Camaraderie and
support>working hours>neighborhood. That is the order I pick prgs. |

If in this forum, any of the residents, follows, attending, or previous
applicants from those programs could give you some suggestions about your
chance to match or even pre-matched to those programs, you may have a better
idea.

誉放在脑后。这样行事的人多了还让不让别人走这条路？
如果仅从你个人考虑，推掉算了，要不一辈子心里都是个事儿。如果match上更好的当
然最好，如果没match上以你条件再match成功几率也很大，一年功夫权当上了堂做人的
课。

prematch时，我没有任何心理准备，就简单的回答了会。但我当时心里确实是想我会接
受的，并没有说出自己都不相信的话。
其次，最主要是我没有想到这么快就给了prematch。本以为还有其他的机会，还在认真
的准备下一个面试的。所以一下子有些纠结了。不过现在我已经决定接受这个prematch
了，其他的十几个IV我准备全部cancel，也不再继续纠结了。

and write them a letter to explain. It happens and the program understands.
As long as no contract is done, everything is possible.
But if you said: I am a CMG and always view CMG reputation as my life, I've
never lied in my life and I will definitely come if you offer me a prematch
position. Things are different.
I am not blaming on you and understand this is your first IV. By all have
said, I still think you should pursue the best program you can get
with no regret.

I don't think it is wise to take it without even trying to take a look at other programs.
一共有１５个IV,昨天接到心目中第６，７位program的pre-match offer. 但是现在接受实在不甘心，因为最喜欢的两个program 对我的表现挺满意的，虽然没有给pre-match offer，但话里话外透着亲切，也邀请了第二次访问。而且最近还会去见心中３到５名的program。
不过话说回来，尽管他们现在表示很好，但他们对candidate的interview没有结束，难保他们不会看见其他喜欢的candidate。现在手上没有他们的pre-match offer，人家到时候不把我rank high, 我也没有任何办法。
所以说到底，还是很希望目前给pre-match offer的program能够给我保底。怎么跟他们communicate一下，让他们不要因为我据了他们的pre-match offer就不再rank me high？一般的program是怎么处理这种情况的？
When PG offers prematch, they also think their program might not be your first choice. But they use prematch as a way to attract more competitive candidates.
我的建议是赶紧跟你觉得比这个好的program联系，告诉他们你有pre-match，看能不能给你pre-match。另外，在pre-match的deadline之前，能去尽量多的iv，面试中说明情况，看看能不能给你on site pre-match
个人觉得这主要是看现在给你pre-match的地方的风格，如果他们通常是绝大多数位子都由pre-match搞定，估计就够呛，以为他们会觉得你占了个位子却不一定来这里，还不如就给其他人；如果pre-match其实只是少部分，那你还有希望争取一下。不过个人觉得，如果这里不是你的TOP5就再想想吧，尤其是有其它地方非常正面的恢复的话。另，如果你给你最想去的地方说你为了他们锯掉了pre-match，是不是更好的表示了你对他们的兴趣？应该是加分点吧？
update 一下吧 －－跟这个给我pre-match offer的program要了几天extension, 抓住这个时机把排位３－５号的program基本转了一遍，最后拿了心中排名第３的program的pre-match offer。所以我的interview season也提前结束。说排第３，实际上一定程度上跟排名第二的各有千秋，所以我还是很高兴的。
谢谢大家的鼓励和经验分享，同时想跟还再战斗的各位说一句，要相信自己。同时如果你想要pre-match的话，一定要说。他们可能会放诸如我们会 rank you high之类的狗屁。但只要他们没有明确说从来不给pre-match，你就应该把自己的优势再强调一遍，再要pre-match。看你这么 dedicate, PD还不迟早被你搞掂？Good luck everyone! Hang in there, you'll get it sooner or later! |

prematch。时间上的确很早。
