发帖数: 106 | 1 I had a great time in practicing interview with Dr. Wing yesterday.
I replied to her when I saw her post about she wants to help CMG to practice
interview. She immediately sent me related information and set up a
practice time with me the day after. My first interview will be a few days
later.
I have been practicing interview with my husband and other CMG applicants;
however, the practicing with Dr. Wing is quite different. She is an
attending physician now, and has a lot of experience in interviewing both
residents and fellows. She also went through the MD and PhD track, and she
knows the story on both sides, esp for CMG with research experience.
She spent an hour and half with me including 30-40 min formal interview and
the following one hour discussing the interview process. What she thinks are
my strengths and weaknesses (or red flags), how I can improve my answers to
turn my weaknesses into strengths. She pointed out 3 strengths from me
which I didn’t realize quite much, and suggested me to use them as key
points during interview conversation.
和Dr.Wing 的面试练习非常personalize， 我觉得能有这个机会运气挺好，尤其是在我
的第一个面试之前。 Dr.Wing 同时指出了我经历中的一些red flag， 是我之前准备并
没有太意识到的。她的经验很丰富也很了解咱们CMG的经历，所以她的好多建议我感觉
很务实。
总之，从我个人的感受Dr.Wing挺不错的。作为CMG如果需要帮助interview的话值得推
荐。
