Hi I got the following message from the program coordinator regarding to my
Temporary license application.
"For IMGs; the Board will accept a notarized copy of the applicant’s
transcripts; however it must be sent in addition to the “original”
certified copy of the transcript. Please be sure to mail these documents to
me along with your Temp application and other documents required."
Here are my questions?
1. How do you get your transcript notarized ? ( it is in the sealed envelope)
2. How do you get the original ( In the sealed envelope) transcript
certified?
I appreciate it if anyone can help me out with my confusion.
Notarized copy of the transcript: you can bring the original transcript and
its copy to the bank and let the public notary check and notarize the copy.
They will put a seal and their signature on the copy.
Certified copy of transcript: my understanding is just the original
transcript. Usually it bears the stamp from your medical school as well as
the signature of the clerk who is in charge of this.
