in those parties. Not really made new friends since starting residency. I
don't like to hang out with coworkers. I think it's better to keep a safe
distance from coworkers, and when you hang out with coworkers, it's
unavoidable to gossip programs, other people, and maybe your personal stuff,
which may cause some drama later on.

listening to music at home, also another way to release stress.
Oh, other things I do to release stress also include dance, watch movies, go
to the beaches in the summer, and get together with friends when I feel not
that tired.

I agree it is probably better to keep a safe distance with coworker. In my
class, we like to hang out together and inevitably complain about something
we all experienced. Sharing the experience actually helps a lot to vent some
stress. You know you are not alone.

But I really admire the hospitalist job, 12 hrs a shift, a lot of off time,
a lot.

发帖数: 3726 | 22 恩，刚开始phd的前两年就贪玩了，幸运地是我的phd老板超级nice，只要我有结果每周
能谈一次，我爱干嘛干嘛，从不干涉。后来开始USMLE了，就开始失去自我了，成天就
是学习，朋友也就越交越少了。要是早两年开始USMLE,没准现在也attending了。也没
准还match不上，这match就是一个天时地利人和，运气太重要了。扑哧，扯远了。

Florida. 7 on 7 off sounds good, but half of the 52 weekends are gone. Not

call，应该比较符合你的要求。不过挣得估计不多 |

an expensive area, budget is less than 30% of after tax income every month
(so I don't expect to buy expensive house at all). As for car, honda accord
is enough, at most accura or Honda SUV. I just need a lot more free time,

来做什么都有底气，我们这里的内科医生都是门诊，但经常主动要求周末cover
hospital，这样可以保持业务水平。

The pay is pretty good. And no state tax. I am not sure about workload
though. But you still have to see quite some patients every day. Absolutely
no call is difficult.
