Technically, what I have is a "disc protrusion" in the lower back. this is
what the MRI shows. My disc "sticks out" and pinches a nerve. the nerve it
happens to pinch is the sciatic nerve -- the largest nerve that runs from
bottom of your spine down through the leg. this sympton is called "sciatica
". this is why i have the pain through my leg. you can google it on the

most of the herniated disc would self reabsorb, unless there are signs for
cord compression,
oral pain meds, if doesn't work well then maybe epidural steroid injection,
if not, then maybe surgery, there is microdisectomy that is less invasive,
