说实话,我不知道这是什么,以为医生就是告诉我一步步做什么,我就ok了,
医生也没有告诉我这不是exam的一部分,会有additional charge.这个
debridement实际上就是把我的牙齿刮了一下,没有打麻药,巨疼,不过很快
今天去做了一半牙齿的scaling,付钱的时候告诉我上次的拿个full mouth
debridement要收我$152, 外加 4-bite wings $19 和comprehansive oral
evaluation ($15). 这都是第一次去做 | f******w

Prophy (Cleaning) per year. So one thing you can do is to ask your dentist
to change the Ful mouth Debridement as Dental Prophy. Basically, same
procedure, but Debridement will not covered by any Dental Plan. Dental
Debridement only done when you have a lot of denta calculus. But You
definitely can ask yur dentist to change the biling code. I usually help my
patients to do so.

I had the same experience as lz before. Me and my husband have a very good (
expensive) dental plan. We went together for a cleaning, but I was asked to
visit them an additional trip for finish debridement. The reason is my teeth
condition is much worse than my husband's. (I always have bleeding problems
.) :( They charged me for extra $52. It is pretty good that you can
negotiate for a discount, I should have done that too.

price, so i cannot let them change the code. 1/4 scaling is $89 in my dental
plan.
I am not discusing the price here, i just dont feel comfortable the way they

的事,去做到你这么小心,要求高了点吧,更何况,我在网上看到很多人还是那种6个月就
做一个check-up的人也吃了这个亏, 这里面是不是有点问题啊, 有的人还是要求了任何
charge都notified,还被先斩后奏了. medicine的精华区里也提到了牙医是美国医疗里
最滥的系统了.

I am a dentist too, I also suggest you to Talk to your dentist about this
option,
If you really want that $150 back.

the purpose to change the code is not to get the free service, instead, it
is just to change the payer, ie., let the insurance company pay the service.
but mine is dental discount plan, and no company will pay anything for me. I
will pay whatever the bill is (although it is discounted bill), so even the
code is changed to something else, as long as the total payment is not
changed, I have to pay it in full.

着colletion ruins my credit,就直说. 用不着拐弯抹角. 之前也是胡乱曲解我的帖子.
我又没complain所有的牙医,我也问了我身边的朋友,别人的牙医也是很清楚的列出所有
的service 和对应的价格, 我这个牙医做exam的时候直接就上FMD了,我问了他是不是
exam的一部分,他也说是, 而且自始自终连个exam的result都没有给我看过,也没有告诉
我哪里有问题还是没有问题, 要不是因为这个bill的事, 我还以为是我因为一开始说了
要deep cleaning,连给我解释exam的result都不用呢.
