maybe it's nonmyeloablative transplant,
my understanding is, and correct me if i'm wrong, that allogenic transplant
could be quite toxic in elderly patients, mostly from the myeloablative
chemo prep, so instead, you transplant the cells without high dose intense
chemo as a prep, and the recipient would have both donor cells and his or
her own cells in there, hoping the donor cells will do the trick, at least
slow down the underlying leukemic process, then you can consider allogenic
