My comment:
(a) A fourth-generation jet fighter, the J-11 is made by Shenyang Aircraft
Corporation. After it first came out of assembly line after the 1995
agreement with Sukoil, the fighter went to PLAAF. Both according to
Wikipedia.
So, I guess what is new in the news is PLAN got its hand on the fighter, too.
(b) JF-17 Thunder
