Based Discrimination Protection law to protect transgender New Yorkers, and
passed the Domestic Partnership Recognition Law to ensure that same sex
couples in a legal partnership could enjoy the same legal benefits as
heterosexual couples in New York City.During his tenure, the General Welfare
Committee also passed the Benefits Translation for Immigrants Law, which

这个问问房东就知道了吧。房东当然不能因为种族肤色歧视，但是可以通过credit
check拒绝信用太差的人，不交房租用政府的voucher来付的人和这种情况类似，说明收
入不足以支持家庭开支，除非房东想把自己的房子搞成长期section 8，不然麻烦大了
。

租房问题是个很复杂的社会问题，像艾滋病人，房东爱不爱租真不好办。NYC房子紧张
，政府立法干预租房市场有年头了，以前还限过租金，搞得房东都让房子空着。
