Florida school shooting suspect was a white nationalist, leader of group
confirms
WHITE NATIONALIST TIES
Jordan Jereb, a leader of the white supremacist group Republic of Florida,
confirmed to the Associated Press that Cruz was a member. The group
describes itself as a "white civil rights organization fighting for white
identitarian politics" and seeking to create a "white ethnostate." Jereb
also said that Cruz participated in paramilitary drills in Tallahassee.
"He acted on his own behalf of what he just did and he's solely responsible
for what he just did," Jereb said.
In addition, the Anti-Defamation League told ABC News that Jereb had also
confirmed to them that Cruz was a member of the Republic of Florida. |
