AMEX card account. Called in and got to know it was because I have a $1K
bill payment failed went through due to insufficient fund in my checking
account. I knew that accident but had though it should have never reached
AMEX. But obviously, my local credit union sent the money first and after
realizing my balance is not to cover the transaction, the payment was
withdrawn from AMEX...
First ever mistake. So asked waive. The CSR did a quick look and say I have
a wonderful clean history :) so she is happy to waive the fee out of
courtesy. |
