transfer his points over to my account and cancel his card? Is it safe to
do so?

that's fine as long as I can still purchase tkts for him?
and his part of the points is not going to expire as long as I keep my card
right? or transfered points will expire after certain period of time?

MR: at least one has amex everyday card and another is the AU
UR: at lease one of you has a premium card - CSR/CSP/Ink +
TYP: each of you has to have one premium card - prestige/premier
