The Southeastern Conference distributed $209 million dollars in earnings
from the 2009-2010 season to the twelve member institutions.
The payout pushed the SEC further and further ahead of the four other BCS
conferences.
The generated revenue was 57.7% more than it was one year ago when the
payout was $132.5 million dollars for 2008-2009.
This time the cash cow will see the twelve institutions will carve out an

conference right now, from tv money to referee to big12 chair. If tx goes to
big10 or sec, it will get 10 mil more at most assuming all the travel
expense is negligible. But it is only less than 10% of its current revenue
and it would not allow tx to build its own network.
Also with the size and power of the school, in big12, no school has impact
as tx does. But in big10, all schools are pretty powerful, and osu/michigan | b**j

发帖数: 5100 | 4 that is probably right. osu/michigan/psu are at least similar to ut in
school size, political power, football and academics. unfortunately, there
is no such school in big12.
I really like the pac16 idea. OU will be in a similar situation to right now
, no power in the conference control but anybody has to respect its football
. And no single school will control the conference.
