stud after stud out of ohio (woodson, desmond etc) when
cooper was coaching.
i'll list a few points here and then everyone can speculate:
1. john cooper was clean
2. michigan was able to beat ohio state when it comes to
recruiting in ohio
3. when JT arrived at osu suddenly the outflow stopped
question:
did the outflow of ohio players to michigan stop as a result
of JT paying them, or is it a result of JT started
paying MORE than michigan did :) |

在这个范畴。

He upgraded his GPA by taking 3 summer courses just before the season:
Golf (playing, not instructing)
Musical Appreciation (listening, not composing)
Sex Education (need I say more?)
I kid you not. It made national news back then.

球员学的基本都是混学分/gpa的课。

instead of (or in addition to) the players; while michigan
stayed with paying the players only? :)

也可以是，当时ohio stud 太多，要不完，剩下的分给我们了，哈哈。cooper当时手下
也是猛将如云。
据说早在Woody和Bo年代，booster横行，所以NCAA就禁止了。后来为什么一些学校继续
booster横行，这主要是看教练和compliance office的了，特别是compliance office
的工作能力，不排除某些学校的compliance office就是只眼开只眼闭。我密练习门就
是吃了compliance office工作不力这个亏，现在compliance office都换人了。cooper
说的不是没有道理，他当时可能就是compliance office管得严一点。Carr那时候，据
说我密compliance office也管的具严。RR时代，在我看来，是RR有意不合作，搞得
compliance office的人很难作。所以我一直认为RR是有意瞒着不报的，不过也是我自
己猜测。
