Ohio State: Michigan State will beat Michigan to the punch on Nov. 21,

their unbeaten regular-season finale against the Wolverines. A balanced
offense led by Connor Cook and an athletic, physical defense gets the job
done in East Lansing.

Baylor: The road ahead is full of potential bear traps. The Bears win at
Kansas State and pull out a shootout with Oklahoma. But after beating the
Sooners, they’ll be tripped up at Oklahoma State on Nov. 21, the weekend
before a much-anticipated showdown against Texas Christian.
TCU: The Horned Frogs, who have been living on the edge throughout the
season, will lose at Oklahoma on November 21, the week before Baylor comes
to Fort Worth.

Michigan State: The Spartans have been winning ugly. On Nov. 7, their luck
will change when they play at Nebraska, a program hungry for a victory over
a top 5 team.

Stadium. The Tide will be the only team to control — you can’t stop him —

the playoffs as the only remaining unbeaten team at 13-0, where they’ll
lose in the semifinals to a once-beaten team. For fun, let’s make it

this de facto ACC championship game.

They don’t play Ohio State, Michigan or Michigan State. But they’ll lose
at Nebraska, a tough place to try to finish an unbeaten regular season, and
drop the Big Ten title game.

Oklahoma State: The Cowboys have won their last three games by a combined 12
points. They’ll lose a Halloween shootout at Texas Tech.

Memphis: The Tigers will hear more and more speculation about the future of
their coach, Justin Fuente, as the season winds down. Navy’s efficient
option attack will hand the Tigers their first loss on Nov. 7.

Toledo: Since beating Arkansas and Iowa State, the Rockets have won their
last four by almost 30 points per game. With speculation growing about coach
Matt Campbell’s opportunities, the Rockets face a tough Tuesday night test
at archrival Bowling Green.

Houston: The Cougars have the misfortune of finishing the regular season
against Navy and its tough-to-defend, option offense. Did you know that the
Cougars, a team with a reputation for prolific passing attacks, have more in

Temple: The Owls’ ride is almost over. On Thursday, they’ll fall in a
hostile environment at East Carolina, which is unbeaten at home, including a
victory over Virginia Tech.
