5:30pm - 7:30pm Foxtrot and Swing workshop with Brian Nash, for experienced
dancers
5:30pm - 7:30pm Dances for Special Occasions: Rumba and Swing - the basics
with Carmen Valverde (for new or beginning dancers)
8:00pm - 11:30pm Ballroom Dance social with music played by Brian Nash
$15 for either workshop/$8 with RU student ID
$10 for ballroom social/$5 with RU student ID
Payable at the door
Attend with or without a partner. We use a rotation system in workshops.
Many people attend the social as singles and dance with various partners.
Age range is 18 to 80. Proper attire requested: no jeans, no sneakers or
flip-flops, no tee shirts. |
