現在講究吃Baumgarts 了。 來了Livingston。
I included two typical reviews in the next two posts.
It is so true, their service constantly shift in a wild range.
From very very good, to borderline rudeness.
And so far I have not been able to figure out what prompts what.
沒有分水嶺的服務， 時好時壞， 捉摸不透。
Personally I have not been to any Baumgarts in NJ.

发帖数: 4451 | 4 This review comes with a disclaimer about the history of this restaurant
mini-chain. I went here for years as a youth in Englewood. Baumgarts
used to be an old-fashioned ice cream shop which served a great chicken
salad sandwich and phenomenal shakes and egg creams. And it still does...but
it is no longer an American comfort food establishment. It is an eclectic
hot mess of Asian dishes, sushi and sushi style appetizers, and a few
American staples...oh and let's not forget the kid-friendly options and
yummy ice cream.
Yes, it is a bit confused and the service does swing wildly from
congenial, (catering to large families and bending over backwards to
accommodate kids), to aloof, sometimes slow, inattentive and just plain poor
. But overall, Baumgarts is just what you're looking for when you don't know
what exactly you're looking for! The menu has something for everyone, the
atmosphere caters to families, and the food is tasty with plenty to go
around. Most are BYO-so choose your own beverage if that is your thing. I am
not a huge fan of their Asian cuisine merely because most of it is, as you
would expect, salty. But it is definitely yummy, not oily. The Thai Papaya
salad is refreshing, the fresh string beans and eggplant combination entrees
are a few of our family favorites.
While some may find this place confusing, it is the eclectic menu that makes
it appealing to a wide variety of diners and perhaps the reason it has been
one of the few places which remains in town center where so many places
have come and gone. | P*********t

mother-in-law's friends already highly recommended it, we decided to give
it a try. We were so happy that we tried it out. The food is gorgeous!
;Not being snobbish, but as a Chinese living in New York city, I had plenty
of experience with Chinese food in Chinatown and Flushing. This place
is definitely competitive with the best places in Chinatown and Flushing. It
is the best Chinese restaurant I've been to in NJ........

烤鱼非常的硬 不入味， 这个不计入川菜吧
盐煎肉是用回锅肉做的， 这个糊弄外地人吧
蒜泥白肉切的太厚粒浮 师傅手艺不行，匣br />
豆花牛肉用的是豆腐 不是豆花， 成本控制
水煮鱼的鱼肉不太劲道 感觉一般 成本控制，鱼肉不新鲜
当然 和大部分NJ的川菜比 还是不错的
和国内的差距较大
