Brief Description

Detailed Description
Functional Responsibility:
* Meet month end close deadlines with accuracy and appropriate support
for the following :
* Revenue and cost analysis
* Record monthly journal entries
* Reconcile balance sheet accounts
* P&L and forecast management
* Ensure automated Oracle processes are functioning as necessary
* Prepare and provide monthly reports and analysis for Operations and
upper management.
* Understand revenue recognitions rules with relation to the IPC
business
* Conduct quarterly review meetings with branch managers.
* Work with Business Objects and Discoverer reports as needed with a
strong emphasis in Excel
* Effectively use OutlookSoft for P/L analysis as well as budgeting and
forecasting revenue, costs and expenses.
* Identify opportunities and make recommendations for more efficient
close process.
* Ability to effectively communicate with branch managers and operations
contacts.
Job Requirements
* Desire to understand and maintain strong relationships in all
functional areas and recognize their interdependencies
* 3+ years of accounting experience
* Excellent Excel & PowerPoint skills
* Ability to provide insightful and meaningful analysis
* Experience with Oracle and Business Objects a plus
* College degree (4 year)- BS in Accounting preferred
* CPA, MBA or advanced degree a plus

This position will be responsible for providing analytical support
to the Manager of Financial Analysis and the broader Business Operations
team. To be successful, the candidate must develop solid working
relationships throughout the IPC organization to solve various management
questions and overcome business challenges. The candidate must be organized,
thorough, and accurate in their work, with attention to detail.
Functional Responsibility:
* Maintain accurate and easily accessible data set and report library
Develop reporting and provide monthly updates in several areas including:
* Operational performance
* Customer installed based
* Maintenance revenue
* Pricing
* P&L and Budget management
* Provide commentary and analysis of significant trends in divisional,
regional and consolidated data.
* Assist in the development of reports and dashboards for functional and
executive use.
* Work with IT to deliver KPI and ad-hoc reports as needed
* Identify opportunities and make recommendations for business process
improvements.
Other Areas of Focus:
* Provide analytical support for the C-suite executive team
* Assist VP of Business Development in M&A activity
Job Requirements
Skills and Knowledge Required:

Brief Description
Under the direction of the Senior Systems Analyst, and as part of
the Finance Team, the ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting
financial reporting and analysis as well as the annual budget process.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
* Compile and distribute the company’s monthly financial reports
* With their Manager, conduct monthly review of material with the COO
* Provide materials and reports for the monthly divisional financial
review with the executive team
* Monthly SLP tracking sheet preparation
* Monthly financial database maintenance
* Under the direction of the Senior Systems Analyst, Prepare the Finance
Department’s quarterly board meeting material
* Assist in the compilation and reporting of the company’s annual
budget
* Conduct analysis and reporting of the company’s discretionary spend
* Participate in the testing and reporting of the company’s financial/
system controls
* Work with the IT department to maintain the Finance Department’s
intranet site
* Work with the Finance Team to develop executive scorecards and
management reporting
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
* Ability to meet deadlines and deal with pressures associated with
those deadlines
* Effective communication with others throughout the organization with
respect to timely submission of critical information and documentation to
ensure that deadlines are met
Impact of the Position on the Organization:
This position will support business growth, evaluate financial performance
and customer satisfaction for Corporate Finance. This person will have
senior management exposure in providing them with the financial analysis
necessary to help them make decisions and determine organizational strategy.
Education, Experience and Skills Required:
* BA Accounting, or similar degree, required.
* 1 year of experience in financial analysis & accounting.
* Must have strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with
Intermediate or above Excel skills.
* Must have excellent communications skills.
* Must be a quick learner and interrested in taking on new challenges.
* Must be able to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects
at a time.
