Now it is coming to Lehigh, this weekend.
"We will start releasing water in anticipation of Hurricane Irene starting
COB Thursday. Flow will be 2000 cfs and may increase to 3500 cfs Friday or
Saturday. We plan to evacuate the pool prior to the rainfall event that is
forecast to start on Sunday. Modification to this plan will take place
dependant on storm track. "
For those who don't know, we usually rafted for 700cfs for summer season.
Now the water level is going to be 2k~3k....
It is going to be a solid Class III+....a certain rapid can get to Class IV.
The only thing making me a bit conservative is that it is a bit cold this
week and expects to rain on weekend. | b******n
