1. the technology to achieve high accuracy of this great experiment can be
transferred into future commercial use
2. the finding proves the standard model is correct. it means that now
engineers can think about how to put standard model into use
3. research needs funding. in a democratic society, ppl's opinion can decide
where funding goes.

stupid readers can at least feel the importance of this research. with the
mass idiocracy growing along the way, i can almost predict science field
will soon hire some hottie to rap about scientific research.
what do ppl really care? peasants are only governed by greed and fear. the
fear of a-bomb and fear of new weapon by soviet funded facilities like
femilab. and now, fear of terrorism funded the war in mid-east. ppl are
greedy so that they do not want to put tax money into such a long time
investment. unfortunately, they are not greedy enough to project what kind
of glorious future science can bring about.
