我是09 fall，准备去OSU读研究生，想知道有没有OSU中国同学会的网址和联系方式，
找了好久都没找到呢。。。
另外想知道OSU统计系怎么样？拿到了TA，也不知道那边生活开销有多大，还有气候条
件，学校声誉等等，呵呵，了解的师兄师姐麻烦介绍一下，非常感谢！

那些统计系的中国同学是说毕业了么？那边统计MS毕业继续留在本校读PHD的多么？还

发帖数: 6 | 15 if you wanted cook for yourself, it is better if you are living off campus .
not a lot of good restaurants (unless you like fast-food, it averags 4-7
dollars per meal) within walking distance of the campus, and only a few good
ones by 9th and Circle (downtown isn't all that great either).
you probably wanted to carpool with people to go up to Portland, Seattle,
etc., because Corvallis can be really boring most of the time. But one good
thing is that you are close to the beach and the mountains, |

1. Where can I find off-campus housing before my arrival? Is there a website
available for me to search for housing?
2. Which route is best if I choose to fly from Beijing? BJ---Tokyo---
Portland, or some other airlines?

or you can just use craigslist.org
2. pick whatever airlines you want. To the best of my knowledge most China
to PDX airlines goes through Japan anyways. Also,unless you are having
someone picking you up from PDX, you could also take airport shuttle from PDX airport that would take you directly into the middle of the campus. |

09年的新生的话，大概订好票后加入osu的china maillist，给学生会长发信吧，
这两年ms都是统一接机的。如果实在日子不凑巧，做shuttle也很方便，
从pdx直接到osu bookstore。
找房子一般都过来找吧？在师兄师姐家客厅窝两天没问题的，我家也有空房可以住，
自己实地看看一般保险一点，而且可以听听情况，有的房东比较mean一点。

如果是NW的，在东京专机，到达pdx后入关，就这点区别，
哪家便宜定哪个吧，对于接机的来说可能UA的好些，因为是中午或者下午到，
NW是早上7点多到
