发帖数: 41 | 1 It was 5:00am in the morning. I heard some animal bumped slightly onto my
tent, I cought and made some noise, that animal walked away then. I thought
that might just be a raccon. Next morning 8:00am, my neighbor( a girl with her
parents) told me they saw a black bear walked by my tent around 5:00 am. The
bear punched through couple Dr. pepper cans they accidentally left outside
(although originally unopened), left lots of finger prints at her car(food
inside), then walked away. Nobody got hurt. | g**e
发帖数: 41 | 2 1) There are 8 first come first serve campground with NPS system at
yellowstone, they do not take reservation,get there early
2) Even for those 4 campground which take reservation, they still hold some
open sites for folks stop by. We got our site at Canyon this way,
3) Unless you know exactly which site to stay and write to NPS, backcountry
site only take 2 days advance reservation. Chances are, if your schedule are
flexible, you can get some backcountry site at ranger station.
