我们有7天时间，还要留些时间从seattle到公园往返。
1。从seattle有shuttle去这个公园么？因为我们全程backpacking，租车挺不划算的。
2。如果走wonderland，7天时间如何安排呢？计划每天走8－10mi，走完整个loop是不
可能了，从中间节选的话就要考虑回头取车的问题。不知道从sunrize逆时针 走到
paradize是否合适？两点之间有shuttle么？
3。最关心的，现在申请wonderland permit还有可能吗？
4。如果wonderland的permit拿不到，去哪条backpacking trail好呢？
多谢多谢！另外，也欢迎加入，要求有backpacking装备，经验丰富，并且今年走过大

，以便做相应的准备
如果雪不是都化掉，你的行进速度会受影响
如果没有强烈的走长trail的愿望，不建议走全程wonderland，基板上你那几天都耗在那
里了
permit的问题，最好是直接给ranger station打电话
不记得有去rainier NP的shuttle，自己租车吧
另一个办法就是看看有没有朋友帮忙接送一下
或者，付点报酬，看看有没有人愿意从西雅图接送你

Courgar rock was totally snow free. If you want to hike through Wonderland,
you might need a car anyway for caching. Well, you may carry all the food,
but it's going to be heavy. You definitely want to call the rangers for
detailed info on the trail conditions. It's quite possible that part of the
loop is not accessible.

，不知道到时雪能不能化掉。ranger说月底估计能化完，不过我们离月底还有2周。
怎么办呢，换trail还是换公园？我们想走overnight的trail， day hiking不尽兴，也
不想走铺过的trail。还是backcountry trail走着有感觉。

你在那里camp一晚回头也是一样。
不如按照我前面给的计划，剩下时间去走Olympic NP的Hoh River trail吧，
这样两天看山，三天看水和冰川，也是很不错的。

剩下的时间去olympic NP，7月中旬去那边正是好季节，那边也有足够长的trail够你走了

very promising for all the snow to melt out in 10 days. When I was at
Paradise this Monday, there was humongous snow. I could ski all the way down
to the car, literally with the ski tips touching the bumpers.
You don't have to hike through Wonderland though. You can avoid the sections
with snow. Or, you can hike through the snow too. If you want some
wilderness experiences, North Cascades NP is a better choice. It's rath

Snowgrass Flat / Goat lake
That is in the Goat Rock wilderness, S of Rainier and HW 12. A very nice 2
day loop with camping at Goat Lake. It has a traverse of a steep slope that
I would not recommend with snow.
Last weekend, we climbed Dragontail off Icicle creek road. A fair number of

发帖数: 13580 | 19 Oh, goat lake, one of my favorite places. It's gorgeous.
First time I went up Assgard pass, I thought it was beautiful, but that was
untill I came over to the other side of the enchantment lakes. That is
really the gist of it! Permits are hard to get though. Getting down Assgard
pass is painful and I'm sure there will still be snow. I recommend access
from Snow Lake.
Spider Meadows is another gorgeous place I highly recommend. Lyman Glacier
isn't a glacier per se, but rather a mild snow field. T

really need a high resolution map though if you intend to stay on trail.

Wonderland, here is one: Lake Chelan, Lakeshore trail. No need to worry
about the snow this time of the year, even this year. Total 18 miles one way

去，这次能走7天我很珍惜。现在倾向去Olympic和Rainier，总量7天。
本来想7天走个长长的trail，但是这3个公园都没有shuttle，走完之后怎样回去取车是
个大问题。看起来要么找个loop（还没找到合适的，需要各位帮忙推荐），要么分成2
－3天的trail，原路返回。
WT虽然是loop但是营地满了，网站上提示，it's impossible to reserve campground
for the whole WT. 所以WT大概只能走局部，比如走2天，原路返回，去人最少、
campground相对容易拿到的地方，也请推荐一下。我耐力不错，但是负重比较弱，所以
每天10mi基本就是上限啦。
谢谢饼干桶热心共享你的地图，我现在是拿不到的啦，到了Seattle之后找你拿？不知
道你有没有时间接见呀。
去WA的决定做的很匆忙，本来是想去glacier的，发现机票太贵了，临时改了主意。没

share. You are not likely going to need topo maps though if you stay on
trail.
The following is my suggestion without any confirmation or first hand
experience: If you want to take chance, you can pop out of wonderland trail
at a popular spot and beg for a ride. Even better, get to a popular parking
lot, beg a ride to another trail head, and hike towards your car. There is a

， 46mi 4.5 day; then drive to rainier, take a day hike to finish our first
west coast trip.
only problem: snow on the trail... no wonder no reservation required. untill
7/11 some trails >5100ft are covered by up to 7 inches of snow! |
