Liability Waiver
I am aware of the possible risks and dangers of participating in outdoor
activities such as hiking, camping, canoeing, biking, etc. and possible
accidents or illnesses due to the forces of nature. By participating on this
activity I have and I do hereby assume all of the above risks and will hold
the guides, leaders, and MITBBS harmless from any and all liability,
actions, debts, claims and demands of every kind which may arise in
connection with this trip. The terms hereof shall serve as a release and
assumption of risk for my heirs, executors, and administrators and for
members of my family. |

nothing and that's just it. it's totally worthless in a court.

如果打印出来让人签名呢?

我看很多 club 也有这样的 waiver. PG 就有，难道那个也没有用？
杀人这个不是好例子因为你没有权利管辖检察院，起诉谋杀的是检察官。
想知道一下其中的道理。

all group activities are registered online and all has to check the box of "
accept waiver"

每个club都有，但是他们都知道这个waiver到了法庭就是废纸一张
不管是民事还是刑事，你的责任是由法律决定的，不能因为免责声明免掉。要是这么容
易就把责任免掉了就太可怕了，汽车制造商也可以免责声明，医疗设备厂商可可以免责
声明。这些免责声明只能说比没有强，但也就是比没有强而已。更何况，没有律师在场
签署的legal document都没有法律效力。
that being said, when shit happens, you as the organizer are not very likely
to be successfully sued by the victim. criminal negligence is a very hard
to prove case.

在碰到的组织者都比较专业、负责。当然咯，我们的活动难度也很低：D

warn somebody. The waiver can be account for 20%-50% when defending. |
