Key Responsibilities：
• Aid the interpretation of the data we generate and integrate it with
supplementary data from outside of DMPK to help drive project decisions.
• Use modeling as a thinking tool to help us generate an
experimentally testable question.
• Develop PK/PD strategies, perform modeling & simulation analyses,
represent DMPK department in project teams, and write reports.
• Exceptional collaborative behaviors are required such that
relationships with scientists across the DMPK Community are developed and
maintained.
Complexity:
• Have led teams or been part of matrix teams driving and implementing
DMPK strategy.
• A demonstrated ability to work and deliver through others remotely.
Minimum Requirements:
• Degree in Pharmacokinetics, Chemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutical
Science, or Engineering and demonstrated involvement in one or more modeling
approaches in DMPK with significant >5 years of industrial experience in
drug discovery and/or development.
• Knowledge of one or more of the following: numerical analysis,
differential equations, finite element, optimization, parameter estimation,
scientific computing and programming, use of computational chemistry tools
like ADAMANTIS, PK/ADME related drug discovery and development strategies,
physiologically based modeling or systems biology.
• Working knowledge of PK/PD and PBPK modeling tools such as WinNonLin
, GastroPlus, and/or SimCyp
• Being adaptive, willing to pick up new skills, coach and mentor
others.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and strong
influencing skills. |
