Responsibilities
Successful candidates will be expected to:
• Have knowledge and skill sets in cellular and molecular physiology,
particularly in liver metabolism.
• Perform ex vivo and in vivo experiments to address key mechanistic
and pharmacological scientific questions.
• Coordinate cross-functional efforts. Work efficiently and flexibly
in team environment
• Apply scientific and technical expertise to drug discovery programs
to impact the future of new drug candidate development.
• Communicate and present study results in both internal and external
meetings.
• Maintain a ‘cutting edge’ awareness of preclinical scientific and
technical developments. Apply scientific and technical expertise to drug
discovery programs.
Qualifications
• MS in biology with minimal three years of in vivo experience in
pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
• Prior experience in rodent models relevant to human metabolic
diseases is essential.
• Knowledge and experience in liver metabolism, primary cell isolation
and mechanistic investigation are highly preferable.
• Possess strong written/verbal communication skills and ability to
effectively collaborate with scientists working in other disciplines. | g*********3
