Not surprisingly, we have another wonderful 2011 Winter World Peace TT tourney. It is not only a tourney, it is also a party, a festival. Thanks for your coming, so we could have great time.
We have watched many exciting games. For example, the Open Single Final on Sat (12-03) was between Chance Friend (rating 2420) and Cheug Li (rating 2500). They played very powerful far table long loop with very wild angle. You felt you were watching the USATT Open games, but it actually happened in our small city Plano. Thanks for Chance and Cheug whom brought the major league performance to our minor league arena.
The next day games (Sun. 12-04), we have much less players with very nasty weather. But, very surprisingly, we even have more exciting moments than Sat. The biggest surprise came from the Open Double games. If you look into the ratings, the highest ranking pair - Max Bu (2100)/Brandon Chow (2000) should be walking on the water and grabbed the award easily. But, they were beaten by under dog Nasco Tchizmarov/Hynek Boril. Another two adult pairs Salman Ijazi/Ziad Nowar and Henry Zhang/Jesse Yen were also played so well, they showed us what is the true meaning of old soldier never die. All Double games played until the fifth game. Wow, it was really fun to watch.
Another pleasant surprise came from U1900 Double champion - Bryan Wu/Zhihan Chu. These two young kids started learning ping-pong only one and half years ago. Now, they can beat several 1800 players, it is an amazing progress.
As one of our WP tradition, we always would like to capture the joyful tournament moment and keep it forever. Thanks to Cliff and Grant who spent lots of effort to take the pic for us. The true meaning of Xmas is giving and sharing. We thanks for all players, spectators and volunteers who participated World Peace tourney. Because you gave us your support, so we could all share this wonderful sport event together. This is a great way to open the Xmas holiday season.

Brandon Chow 去年在巴尔地摩和我们这的一个小孩组队，打得不错。比较
