the client is a top hedge fund in midtown, NYC. Working with hiring manager
directly. I placed one candidate with him before. He is open for entry
level PhD from top schools with strong statistics knowledge.
job function:
• take over all the existing models supporting the mortgage and
structured products portfolios
• get involved in building new models related to market place
lending (peer-to-peer), which is a new product area and one they are
focusing on
He is looking for.
• ideally a junior/mid-level person with mbs/structured products
quant experience.
• Must have a PHD
• Must be strong in SAS, R or something similar
• Machine learning skills would be a big plus
