Dear visa officer,
This is Dr. XY from the S University writing to you with pleasure. It has
been about 2 years since last time I went back to my hometown in China to
visit my parents and I missed them so much. However, currently I’m working
as a full-time postdoctoral chemist at the S University and my research work
doesn’t allow me to spend a long holiday like 2 weeks. So I want to invite
my mother, Mrs.ZZ, to visit me in America for a period of 3 months.
In my plan, during my mother's visit, she will stay with my family at the
above address for most time. And since she never came to America before, I
will also take her to some short-term vocations around California such as to
San Francisco, San Diego, Las Vegas, etc. during my breaks. I will cover
all her expenses in America, which include international air tickets, local
transportation, accommodations, vocation, medical insurances and all other
related expenses. I will make sure that my mother will leave US before the
expiration of her authorized stay.
I believe it would be a wonderful reunion if my mother could join my family
in this beautiful spring in California. Your help in issuing a visa for my
