Two jogging brothers, two city parks — and two fatal heart attacks, less
than three weeks apart.
Peter Berry, 60, collapsed and died during a Jan. 19 Central Park run, just
20 days after his older half-sibling went into cardiac arrest during a New
Year’s Eve jog through Prospect Park.
Rynn Berry Jr., 68, died 10 days after collapsing inside the Brooklyn park
— with his brother passing away 10 days later.
The family was bracing for one funeral when they learned about the second,
stunning death.
“It’s been a shock for the family,” said Charles Berry, the last
surviving brother. “It’s been terrible. It’s still hard to believe.”
Charles identified his comatose half-brother Rynn in a Brooklyn hospital
several days after the collapse. Rynn Berry was carrying no identification
when he was found unconscious in Brooklyn.
The brothers were both athletic, health-conscious men who had competed in
the New York Marathon, according to family and friends.
“It’s sort of a tragic coincidence,” said Martin Rowe, 48, a friend of
Ryan. “Two men who in some form or another took care of themselves ... Yet
this happened.”

adding those up you got some freakish coincidents | R*****s

慢跑很可能让他们心脏病暴发的时间推迟了，但是不能救他们的命...
当然60多了也not too bad....
