发帖数: 1242 | 6 it's a home built in a factory (as opposed to be built on site), and
transported to be bolted down to the foundation. these are not mobile homes
in that they are not built by metal, and land is included in the purchase.
they have a crawl space for pipes and such. there's an entrace to the
foundation, and a plate with ID, very much like the VIN of a car. they meet
a federal standard, but might not meet the local building code if the local
ones are stricter.
some of these homes have good views.
