今年我的学生钢琴音乐会要在May 2012 在Piano Warehouse in San Marcos举办。新年
伊始，做一个钢琴课的招生。
如果现在开始报名学琴的小朋友，通过几个月的学琴，就可以赶上今年5月份的音乐会
表演了。这是一个很好的机会让小朋友表现自己的音乐天赋，和其他琴童学习，开阔音
乐视野和丰富自身音乐知识的好机会。
我现在还有几个open slots,感兴趣的家长可以近期内和我站内联系一下。

Ms.xx's piano class has been the best thing for my 5 yr old daughter. She
perfectly balances the lessons with fun activities and understands the
temperament of the child in planning the session for the day. While she
rightly insists on daily practice and repeats a lesson until the student
gets it right,she doesn't apply much pressure on the child which can
potentially turn a young child off from the class. My daughter has not once
complained about coming to class!
As a parent with no formal training in western classical music, Ms.xx
patiently answers my questions and shows me the techniques so that I can
guide my child during the practice sessions. She has a warm and friendly
personality which endears her to the child. I strongly recommend her to any
parent who wants music to be a part of their child's life.

"学钢琴的人都有体会，想找一个好的钢琴老师比买好钢琴难。
我是一个已过中年的人，怀抱着童年对钢琴喜爱的美好的未实现的梦想，现在终于有机
会圆童年的梦想，实在高兴。
钢琴是买得很顺利，但钢琴老师对我来说，因为有过在国内（大陆），几个（次）不同
钢琴老师的体验，面临自己在美国寻找钢琴老师的时候，心里总是颇为忐忑，举棋不定
，虽然广告不少，因为有以前的经验，特别怕浪费了金钱，又丢了时间，真有点儿头痛。
一个偶然的机会，发现了xx老师的广告。因为看中xx老师是毕业于中国最高音乐学府-
中央音乐学院，中央音乐学院毕业的老师，水平就在那儿了，所以我想这次要试一试了
，但究竟教得怎样，心里还是没底。
在上完了第一节的视听课后，我就觉得大不一样。我能感觉到，xx老师是个有水平的，
认真负责的老师。是个作学问的老师，而不是坐钟点的老师。
推荐给我用的教材，我回家用英文字典粗看了一下，确实是好教材，科学的，最top的
当今的钢琴教材。
而且xx老师还有一个最大的特点，特别地有耐心。有时候，因为我掌握不好，她不嫌烦
地一遍一遍手把手地教，我都觉得心里很过意不去了。从xx老师我发现作为一个优秀的
钢琴老师所有的付出，严谨的态度，工作是很辛苦的。
xx老师是我在美国的第一位钢琴老师，而且我也没有再去试别的老师比较，挑选，我觉
得不需要了，而且虽然每周我都要开车来回一个多小时的路程去上钢琴课，但我觉得跟
这样的老师学习，因为老师的付出，使我学到了掌握了切切实实的钢琴知识和技能。我
的付出是值得的，我乐此不疲。"

few places for buying or renting?

5-6 yrs开始学琴较好。
买琴和租琴，租琴是租金便宜，花较少钱先观察孩子3-6个月，如果有兴趣可以坚持的
话可以考虑投资买钢琴长期学。一开始马上买琴的风险是万一孩子没有兴趣去学，就白
投资了。
可以去的琴行：Piano Warehouse, Greene Music, 还有一个中国人开的琴行在大华旁
边。
