By some strike of magic, I was allowed into the press area rather early--
interrupting my plans to meet you. I called as soon as I could, which
unfortunately was after you had arrived. While finding a spot on the press
platform and coordinating with the five other people I was working on this
story with made things exceedingly difficult, I still want to apologize for
any inconvenience my absence may have caused.
