According to KCBS:
Gunn High School Briefly Locked Down
PALO ALTO, Calif. (KCBS) -- Gunn High School in Palo Alto was locked down
for about 40 minutes on Friday as police investigated reports of an armed
person on campus.
The lockdown started at 2 p.m. and was lifted after police found two
students playing with an air rifle.
No one was hurt during the incident. There’s no word on what happened to
the two students.

Two young men detained after Gunn lockdown
Two young males are reportedly in custody following a gun scare at Gunn High
School shortly after 2 p.m. today.
Students were confined to classrooms while police searched for two reported
juveniles who arrived at campus with a realistic looking air rifle or
paintball gun, possibly an Airsoft gun, according to initial police reports.
Students were released from the classrooms shortly before 3 p.m., and
several said they had not been informed |
