Sorry, 各位:
诚如枪手提到的Einstein 的获奖原因, Norbel prize 的一个条
件就是: 该获奖发现必须得到
科学试验的证明. 而广义相对论(Einstein) 以及 量子宇宙学
(Hawking) 的发现只能依靠天体观测
来证明. 而Hawking 的black hole 辐射论 更无法通过直接观测得到
证明. 谁能在实验室作宇宙衍变
实验? Xixi...
所以NB 的霍先生几乎没可能得 诺奖了. 我的意见:
霍金和Einstein 不相上下, 如相对与
Einstein 到美国后的无所作为(有战争因素), 霍金更厉害!
如有不对请指正.

Are you kidding?
Einstein is the farther of both special and general
relavity. He is also one most important creator of
quantum mechanics. He also did a lot of work on
quantum statistics, etc. What Einstein did is the most
fundamental part of phyisics.
But Hawking is quite different. His singularity
theorem and black hole hariless theorem is only an
application of Einstein's general relavity. His black
hole radiation theory is just an application of
quantum field theory in the curved space-ti

Einstein is the greatest physicist ever. One of the
greatest philospher too.

quatization of photons
many QM creators don't believe QM, like Planck, A.E. and Schrodinger

光电效应是一个对量子化观点的非常强烈的支持. 这也就是他获奖的原因.
他和量子理论的观念上的分歧在于解释, 而不是量子化本身.

he is among the first to recoganize light are made of photons and derived
the photon-electric (?) effect out of it. He was also a strong support of
De Brogile's matter-wave theory. He didn't like the intepretation of standard
QM and spend a lot of time to refute it, but failed.
