发帖数: 1815 | 1 Seattle police say the man who was shot this morning near Ravenna Park was
apparently targeted.
He reportedly was shot once in the wrist and once in the upper leg. He has
been taken to Harborview Medical Center with what police describe as life-
threatening wounds.
The victim, reportedly a man in his 50s, was standing in the 2600 block of
Northeast 55th Street around 8:30 a.m. when two people drove up in a dark
sedan and opened fire, according to Seattle police spokesman Sgt. Sean
Whitcomb.
"This was not a robbery, this was a straight attack," said Whitcomb, who
didn't want to say where the victim was from or whether he lived nearby. He
also said police couldn't go into more detail about why they think shooting
was deliberate.
One neighbor reported hearing about seven gunshots and then heard a man
scream.
"Not the best shot because some of the rounds went down the street and hit a
parked car,"Whitcomb said of the shooter. "It's a dangerous situation
because it's 8:30 in the morning, it's a busy street, you've got people
driving to work, taking their kids to school." |
