ahead for traveling during the very hot weather that is expected during the
next few days.

While about 70 percent of Metro’s bus fleet has air conditioning, crowded
buses could still feel very warm, and getting to and from bus stops in the
heat may be a consideration for some people.
Metro suggests:
Consider riding the bus during less crowded off-peak hours when there may be
more room available.
Dress for the weather, and try to find a shaded area in which to wait for
the bus.
If possible, avoid traveling during the hottest hours of the day.
Carry water in a spill-proof container, and drink enough fluids to sustain
you during your trip.
Be aware of conditions in the areas in which you are traveling.
Allow plenty of time for your trip; be prepared for longer travel times in
the event of traffic or transit service delays.
Check Metro’s Service Advisories page to find out about known reroutes or
major stop revisions due to planned construction or events.
