摘要，早些年，snowboard刚出现，各个雪场都没有正规boarder老师
去雪场的都是一些自学的punk kid，被认为是不良少年
但是随着snowboard进入奥林匹克正式项目，美国snowboard联合会的成立
以及正规军的出现，这项policy纷纷被各个雪场抛弃
现在只有三个雪场还有这个policy
survey显示，现在的rider构成也不再是年轻人为主了，31岁以上的大幅度增加

I honestly don't know the fuss. Maybe the owner is a die-hard skier who
wanted to cater to only die-hard skiers out there.
Why are there snow sport specialty shops out there? Obviously they don't
make as much money as a big Dick's or a Walmart, so why do they want to
focus on just selling a few items?
Maybe 1) they don't have the capacity to expand, 2) they don't have the
knowledge to expand, or 3) they don't feel any desire to branch out. |

now they are still battling, costing our hard working h1b's tax dollor
arguying whether it's a amendment, or revision. amendment means that prop
passed, it's law. if revision, 2/3 votes are required to make that law.
