year.So my feeling is extremely nice. The slopeside lodge makes the trip
perfect.
JH is not as steep as Squaw, so more enjoyable as 菜鸟. When storm hits
Squaw, most likely, the top half mountain is closed due to Avalanche danger.
Once weather is clear, thousands people rush in and all powder disappears
in a couple of hours. While JH always stays open, so you can continuously
enjoy fresh powder.

red dog area ?
Also, when I was there just a few weeks ago, somebody pointed to me the
remains of avalanche just the left side of shirley lake lift (closer to
Granite side), kind of surprised me since the slope did not look that steep
to me.

avalanche at Squaw than anywhere else.

不喜欢的一堆：主要是ＬＡ附近的小学场，
最想去的有 Jackson Hole, beaver creek, 还有听说智利有一雪场很牛 不记得名字 |

and Utah.
But if I could, here is mine:
No.1 Snowbird - for powder, price, wide mountain intermediate to advanced
runs.
No.2 Alta - for powder, most snowfall, skiers' Mica!
No.3 Whistler/BlackComb - huge, wide open mountains, long runs.
The reorts most wanted to go to:
Vail, Aspen, Alps. |

were
icy, with brownish rock formations in between. Not as pretty as this picture
. Maybe taken by B/C skiers :)
