如果住在 blackcomb village 離 blackcomb 的 gondola 更近 (2步路就到了)

无法从whistler的蓝道滑下来，说whistler的蓝道有其他滑雪场（比如日本）的黑道的
难度，是这样吗？ |

apparently doesn't have much consideration for beginners (Who cares about
beginners? Isn't everyone already at least comfortable on blue runs?). They
had green runs and blue/black runs mixed together and the green runs were
not clearly marked at all. So you could totally be on a black run without
even knowing. And by the time you realized it, well, good luck in getting
either back up or back down. I was very frustrated when I was there.
Strongly NOT recommanded for beginners. |

Whistler paid a little more attention to producing their signs that mark
where the green runs are - it'd make beginners' lives so much easier. It's
really not much to ask for. *sigh*

Whistler is very friendly to beginners. There are green runs from both
peaks. No matter where you are, you can always find green runs to ski down
safely. It is not very common on other mountains.
Well, you may need to look at map first to have a general idea on where the
runs are and know what you should look for.

Having a general idea is not good enough (and yes, of course we had a
general idea - we looked at the maps first) because you need to realize
where exactly a green run is intersecting with a blue/black run and where
the green runs goes. And that's very hard to get from reading a map. You
SHOULD be looking for signs that indicate "THIS way is where the green run
continues" but unfortunately those signs were extremely hard to spot.
It's frustrating to see that they already did the work to have these many
green runs yet don't make it easy to recognize them at the intersections
which seems so little work compared.
